Writing is a vital but often overlooked skill to implement in the classroom. I want journals that the students can use daily to be able to grow and learn in the classroom. The other materials will allow them to write detailed information. These materials will be used daily. Research shows that good writers are great readers, and this is what I want to encourage my students to be. These materials will help ensure that the students will be able to write well at the beginning of the year. It is my hope that they will learn to love to express themselves through writing. Some of the materials you will help purchase are pencils, crayons, specific writing notebooks, and containers to organize them more fully. This will allow writing to be a fun, organized, and fundamental part of the day.
