During the Covid-19 shutdown live productions were at a stand-still. Now that the situation has improved enough to allow for in-person productions, my Theater Tech students have fallen far behind in programming the lights for them. To better prepare for stage lighting opportunities in the future, my students need the hands-on experience of assembling, hanging, programming and using moving lights. I have an entire unit dedicated to stage lighting and have not had the opportunity to include moving lights as a part of that unit yet. To receive the best introduction to the world of stage lighting and LED movers, having a small supply of them is essential. (Video lessons and remote access to programs and board control is possible for at-home learners as well).
