The octagon shaped tables create a cooperative and engaged working environment. Single student desks create a sense of isolation and reduce peer to peer learning. The ability to have shoulder partners will increase not only academic skills, but encourage social skills. The children will have a sense of community at each table. In a special education classroom it is important to work not only on academics but social skills as well. Coming from a small rural community, funds and resources are limited. I am asking for assistance in the learning environment of my wonderful students. Please join our journey to Wonderland.
