My students come to speech in small groups of 2-5 children at one time. They are all working towards different goals, and work hard on the individualized lessons that I have planned for each and every one of them. However, when the lesson is over, there is no way for my students to print or copy their work to take home. When I see my students again the following week, it is often like starting at square one because they have had no way to practice what we did the previous week. A printer would allow them to take their work home, practice, and reach their goals even quicker! A printer would also allow for me to create additional materials in order make speech-language lessons hands-on and engaging!
