I hope to be the first classroom in my K-4 school to be complete flexible seating. This will be my 19th year in the classroom and I know those who are flexible won't be bent out of shape! I think that the fun and physical learning environment will help to fully engage my students in learning. Hopefully, the seating will set a positive tone the first day of school and my students will see the classroom as "their" space. Having a sense of ownership will hopefully help to create a classroom of respect and responsibility. I am so anxious to see the positive impact the physical environment will have on my kiddos for years to come! I am hoping the wobble stools, the balance chairs, and the footed balance balls will make for more active, engaged, and enthusiastic classroom full of active learners!
