My pre-k room requires dedicated spaces for center based learning as well as small group and individual instruction. The table requested will be used primarily for this. Whether we are learning about senses or the properties of matter through the study of water, this table will create the space needed to engage students in thoughtful and meaningful activities. The style of this table enables me to see, assist and guide students with ease. This year I have decided to do away with my old traditional "teacher desk," and use the space to create a new learning corner for small group and individual instruction! This new table will replace the old teacher desk with a child friendly table where my students can engage in learning activities. The space once occupied by the old "teacher desk" will go from being an isolated area to part of a bigger learning environment for all to enjoy!
