Did you know that there are still schools that do not have air conditioning? While classes continue until the end of June, our room has no air conditioning. Students try their hardest to stay on task but it can get pretty miserable. My kiddos are only 3-5 years old and maintaining their enthusiasm in this heat is almost impossible. During the Fall, our classroom temperatures exceeded 95 degrees on the hottest days. It is already hot and humid and we still have nearly a month of learning and packing to go. We desperately need an air conditioner to ensure that our preschoolers will spend the school year in a cool environment that is conducive to learning.
