The materials I am asking for are going to benefit my students in so many ways. Children's brains retain more information when they are able to move their bodies throughout the learning process. They will have a choice in where they sit in the classroom and discover the space that works best for them. Students will receive stackable chairs, wobble stools, and stability balls as a result of this project. Throughout my undergraduate career in college and my time working as a paraprofessional, students loved having flexible seating options to explore as they learned. Fifth-graders are a mature and active age group that need opportunities to move around while they learn. Being a first year teacher setting up a classroom of my own, I would very much appreciate any help you are able to offer. My first and future classes deserve the best learning opportunities possible, and I will do everything I can to give that to them. I look forward to fully embracing flexible seating in my classroom.
