The paper I am hoping for will be used to produce amazing watercolor painting. My students will study the masters of watercolors such as Albrecht Durer, Peter Paul Rubens, Van Dyck, Thomas Gainsborough and Eugene Delacroix. To begin the process of a watercolor painting, my students need to begin with a good quality paper. Of course they can use regular paper, however, it will pucker, warp, turn yellow and eventually fall apart. Watercolor paper is made to limit the amount of pigment absorbed but can absorb more water. Therefore, if they are going to have any success, they need true watercolor paper.
