Junior Scholastic will help keep my students excited about reading nonfiction articles as well as keep them up to date with the world's current events. This magazine offers current events in a level they can understand and in a way to capture their interest. As a teacher, I want to foster my students love of learning while also instilling in them a desire to be better citizens. My current students enjoy reading as a group and discussing the different articles as a classroom community. Anything that sparks their interest such as this magazine is a wonderful tool for the classroom.
