We will also be using literacy as a tool to teach these Science and Social Studies topics by incorporating them via Classroom Book a Day. These books that we have chosen will compliment those topics. These books will help my students be interested in learning more about the various topics we are discovering in Science and Social Studies. We will be learning about the New England region for Social Studies and various topics for the 4th Grade NGSS Science Curriculum. The 4th grade science topics include motion, energy, and physics. The books we chose will really help emphasize these topics and get students excited about learning.
