Welcome to the future of classrooms! The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! I plan on using chairs and laptop floor desks to set up a relaxing center for kids to read and write. Also, who doesn't love snuggling up in a comfy bean bag chair and enjoying a good book??? Flexible seating options are a fantastic way to help kids stay motivated in class. By simply allowing seating choices, you can open up a child's willingness to go above and beyond in the classroom. Having a "cool" classroom makes kids want to enter and is a natural way to encourage perseverance. The comfortable and ergonomic seating options that I would like to add to my classroom will excite my students and serve as a natural motivational tool that will enhance learning and work production.
