The biggest impact these Chromebooks would have in my classroom is they will allow students access to iReady. iReady is a program that determines students levels in reading and math and provides instruction based on each students individual level. Not only does this resource provide individual student lessons, it also places students into groups based on similar needs. In addition to grouping students, this program will also provide small group lessons tthat I can use as small group interventions and extensions. These Chromebooks will also be used as a students personalized library. Epic.com is one online resource that I will be able to provide to my students with these Chromebooks. This website allows my students to have a vast variety of books at their fingertips. With this resource I can also personalize libraries for each student, set up reading units, and assign tasks for them to complete.
