My students love to move and sit around the classroom. They thrive when given the choice of where to sit. They find a comfortable space and start to work. Traditional classroom desks and chairs no longer meet the needs of students today. Flexible seating allows students to work and learn in an environment that they are comfortable in. When students are comfortable, they are more engaged in the learning process. The products I have chosen will give students additional seating options in our classroom. The wobble stools and chair balls allow students to work at their desk while still moving. The Big Joe chairs offer students a comfortable alternative to their plastic desk chairs. Students will have the opportunity to move in these chairs as well. Last, the bouncy bands allow students to sit at their desks and move their feet. Each of these options give students the chance to move while still being focused on their learning and assignments.
