The manipulatives will be used as they come in every morning to get their minds creatively moving. I have found that coming in every morning to build something instead of throwing papers at them first thing, allows them the chance to acclimate and get ready for the day! The clay and paints will be used to develop their motor skills and allow them to take their learning from abstract to a more visual and concrete understanding!! Please consider donating so that I can bring more hands on activities to my amazing students!! Through your help, I will be able to broaden my students' learning experiences through not only academic curriculum but through fun! My students are 6/7 years old who are so open to learning and need moments to explore and learn through activities that they love. Seeing my students smiling as they learn is why I love being a teacher! I believe wholeheartedly that children need to learn kinesthetically in order to have more concrete understandings. Giving them opportunities to take use their hands, imaginations and newly learned skills, they will be more likely to seek out new experiences opportunities to use their knowledge!Thank you!
