My students love to build with blocks. They make houses, farms, roads, and much more, but they only have small blocks. They live in a city full of huge buildings, but they only have small blocks to build their own cities with. These new blocks are going to give my students the opportunity to build skyscrapers just like the city they live in. The blocks will challenge their motor skills, as they experiment with how to stack them. They will be able to stand on them and use them to make obstacle courses. The blocks will expand their imaginative play skills. I can't wait to see what new worlds they create, as they use the blocks to make castles or houses for themselves to play in. My students face a lot of instability in their daily home lives and I try to make school a beautiful place where they feel welcomed and loved. I want them to have toys that expand their learning and challenge them to grow. These amazing kids are worth investing in, they have such bright futures ahead!
