I am looking to provide opportunities for my students to feel more comfortable and included in the math classroom. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. I want to offer various ways to work in my class. If bouncing on a yoga ball, or lounging on the floor with a clipboard works best, then I want to provide that for my students. Integrating real-world experiences into the math class requires technological resources that not all of my students have access to. By providing groups with Kindle Fires, I am giving them opportunities to explore. I can add only the applications I want them to use.
