I'm requesting binders, binder pockets, and binder tab dividers. With these materials, our students will create binders to hold all of their important materials for the year. They need to be able to organize their materials so nothing gets lost. We plan on teaching our kids how to organize their work so they can easily find it when we need to reference it later on in the year. We have a vision that teaching our kids these organizational skills will provide them with a valuable lesson that will help them as they move into the adult world. Our area was greatly impacted by Hurricane Harvey, and supply funds have been tight for our students. We encouraged them to bring binders this year, but many students were not able to support the costs. Next school year, we are hoping to be able to provide every 9th grade student in our school with a binder they can use throughout their high school career.
