As a part of an extended learning day, we are scheduled to have a focused science block. My students get to experience science in ways other students do not. Even though we are an extended learning day, we do not have the materials that we need to teach the students the standards. I find myself creating my own activities and spending so much money on silly things to try to create a beneficial experiment. This kit would be a very beneficial experience for my students so that they can perform hands on experiments and have fun while learning. This kit will provide my students with the materials needed to learn the new science standards. It will allow them to make mistakes and learn from them as well. This kit will also allow us to experiment with a wide variety of materials in multiple areas of our science based standards. I want to be able to grow their interest in science and teach them that learning can be fun!
