This school year was the most challenging for not only teachers, but especially our students. Help me start off the 2021-2022 school year right by revamping my classroom and turning it into a place that will be my students’ new home away from home! Research has shown that students learn better in a classroom environment that is warm and inviting. For this reason, I’d love to change my classroom so that the floors have rugs for them to sit and have our morning meetings, a classroom library full of pillows and a book nook for them to fall in love with new books, and flexible seating options all throughout so they will not have to be confined to their chairs (as they were during much of the 2020-2021 school year due to the Covid pandemic and social distancing requirements). I look forward to being able to build wonderful and positive memories with my students!
