Coming from a low income, rural area, our students struggle with meeting the basic supply requirements. I have created this project to lessen the financial burden and to have extra supplies on hand for my students. My goal is to alleviate the worry and stigma of not having basic school supplies. The binder dividers will help with organization, the wall file will become a place to place homework safely, the paper, pencils, and binders will be given to students who do not have them due to financial issues. Lastly the tissues will be used in class for the continue date health and hygiene of the students. Every student deserves the basic necessities needed to be successful in a learning environment. Education has the power to change the world and every student is entitled to the opportunity to hold that power. With these basic supplies my students will be one step closer to changing the world with out the worry of where their next pencil will come from.
