My students need flexible seating options such as, Wobble chairs, stools and yoga balls, in order to allow for classroom movement and student choice. An adjustable computer table that students can stand at will be another great form of student seating. Student choice of seating options will allow students to find their ultimate learning style throughout the school day. Research states that students enjoy having choice and they are able to increase their academic performance with a classroom environment that offers student choice that meets the differentiated learning needs of a variety of students. Overall, I would truly appreciate this project being funded so that my students can have the most effective learning environment available to them.
