I work with students in my school in groups along with the speech therapist. We do weekly groups with preschool students using manipulatives in order to develop fine motor, gross motor, receptive and expressive language and social skills. This group is in conjunction with the preschool teachers and specifically targets special needs students. Each week, we plan and implement the groups with lots of trips to the store to purchase needed supplies. Often the supplies are impossible to locate and we end up cutting items out by hand to match the weekly theme. Our hands are getting tired! We are desperately in need of a Silhouette Cameo cutting machine with a special cutting blade to create the consumable materials that we need. This product will benefit preschool students, as well as students in grades 1-5. I will also use it with middle and high school students in self contained classes, so it will be incredibly helpful.
