Don't you ever get tired of sitting in the same, hard chair every day for hours? I am sure my students do as well! With these flexible seating options, my students will have the choice of a more comfortable style of seating. This will allow students to focus on their work versus how hard or uncomfortable the chair is. Offering flexible seating will allow students to focus on the tasks they are assigned and be comfortable. Also, with the different options of seating, this will allow students to learn how to make responsible choices. They will have to choose which seat to work in and choose the location as well. If the seat or location is not working, they can adjust and find the right fit for them. This will enhance their decision making skill and make them responsible for their own learning. Currently, I only have a few options for my students with flexible seating, a bean bag chair and benches. Adding the Zenergy Ball chairs and the Wobble stools will allow more options for my students.
