I try to teach my students that reading is FUNdamental to their education and to their future endeavors, and would like for each and every student to access engaging texts across content areas. In order to engage ALL of my students, I hope to provide them with a full listening library. A listening library will allow my students to listen to and learn from fluent readers that can make every book exciting and keep them wanting more. It will allow my students to see and know what they need to do to become great readers, and to want to continue to grow their brains. Most importantly, a listening library will allow my students to develop a thirst and love for reading starting at an early age, giving them the best chance at success throughout their academic careers!
