While my students love to listen to stories read aloud, I know the listening center materials will help provide a model for fluent reading. It will also help increase their fluency as they begin to read more and more words. I would like to have the Best Buy Listening Center, storage center and read along library in my classroom to help improve students listening skills, reading skills and comprehension skills. The more exposure students have to the written word, the more successful they will be as readers. My goal is to have them further develop their love of reading and books.
