Book clubs in my classroom are a powerful way to engage students in the classroom. When students choose the book that interests them the most, they are more invested in their learning. I would like to provide 9/11 books for my next book club session. My 7th graders do not learn about the impact 9/11 had during social studies. Incorporating these books into book clubs in my classroom is a great way to help students discuss and understand the devastation and impact 9/11 has on the past, present, and future.
