It is important to make sure that the resources that students have last as long as possible and remain in the best condition possible. With the supplies that I have requested, we can make sure that some of my students' precious resources achieve that goal. After only a few months of use, their paperback textbooks are already showing a lot of wear and tear. Contact paper book covers will help them to last much longer. Other supplies like their notebooks, folders, and computers get worn due to not having a proper place for storage. The magazine holders will give my students a place for those items. Finally, students' own hands get worn during cut and paste activities due to scissors that are too small. Many refuse to do the activity because they do not wish to use the scissors. It is important for them to have supplies to fit their size.
