These noise cancellation headphones are an absolute survival tool for some of my students with special needs. Many students are extremely sensitive to sound and need the quietness that these headphones provide. I teach in an inclusive environment, which includes students with autism and other disabilities that impact their learning. They process information from their senses differently. Students can be hypersensitive to everyday sounds and need noise cancellation headphones to help them manage this sensitivity. Additionally, students will benefit from these headphones due to an increased ability to concentrate and focus when there is a lot going on in the classroom.
