It is so important for students have a space where they can feel included during whole group time. A round rug is perfect in that the students face each other and are better able to engage with one another. This rug is inviting and will give my students enough space to sit comfortably without feeling cramped or crowded. Having a neutral color carpet is beneficial to my students who can become overstimulated or have sensory processing issues. This whole group space will be used for interactive learning, games, and story time. My goal is to create a warm, safe, and friendly learning environment for my students, and this rug is a great place to start!
