These materials will give my students practice with authentic language practice for TELPAS. My students need to practice vocabulary and language skills in all facets of language learning. They are required to pass reading, writing, speaking and listening to be considered for exit from TELPAS. Currently our percentage to exit has been very low and I believe it is because they need more individual practice speaking and using the computer to record speech. The programs I have chosen will be beneficial to help my students grow their vocabulary and their authentic speech. They will also use the programs to strengthen their listening and writing skills. If they have more vocabulary at their disposal, I think the writing and speaking facet of language learning will greatly benefit their language acquisition.
