My 5th grade classroom could really use two Chromebooks with headphones and a mouse to help practice fact fluency and speed up center rotations. Our district Math curriculum provides a technology component that sets an individualized learning path for each student based on his or her specific needs. Having access to more computers and working headphones in my classroom would allow me to have 3 small groups instead of 4-5. This would allow me to have more time and opportunities to meet individually with my students that need reinforcement on our academic standards. I would be able to have a small group on the computers, a group at my table, and a group working at their seats. My goal is to slowly build up enough technology in my classroom so that every student can be working at the same time.
