I am responsible for teaching Physical Education as well as all other subject matter to my first graders. I am looking to build my resources to teach physical education as well as current, real world reading materials. I would love to be able to teach students how to get outside (away from their screens) and learn how to play. Having equipment such as balls and jump ropes will help me teach students different ways to play and how to be active. In the classroom my goal is to spark students' curiosity and interest in science and current events. I have found they particularly enjoy the hands-on activities and experiments found in the Science Spin magazines. They help foster the students' love for science and technology. Whenever I say it is time to work on our Scholastic Magazines the students cheer and always beg to play the online games and watch the accompanying videos that bring to life the subject matter of the magazine we are reading.
