Our school is heading towards a philosophy of creative, innovative, passionately motivated problem solvers. We want students to generate positive change within their environments. Students need to be able to collaborate with peers and think creatively and independently, in order to make our world awesome. They also need to be given the ability to make positive, personally responsive choices on how they learn and grow best. Students need ownership to make choices like; do I work best standing? Am I a better writer lounging in a comfortable spot or sitting at a table? By adding wobble stools, stadium chairs, places to lounge, along with other options students can make choices about where they work best when reading, writing, or computing.
