The books for this project can be used face-to-face as well as with a document camera to work with students online. One basic illustration of a beach can address synonyms (coast, shore, etc.), adjectives (rough, squishy, gigantic, shallow, etc.), weather, feelings/emotions, categorization, and more! Think of what vocabulary a whole book of illustrations may address! Help me reach my students who are struggling readers to give them enjoyable experiences with the vocabulary exposure they need without the "test" of having to decode the words on the pages. Thanks so much!
