My classroom is a K-5 media center where students come in on a weekly basis to learn reading, technology and digital citizenship skills. The Media Center is the learning commons of our school and students are excited to learn about new technology and future ready skills. Although students are eager for hands on experience, being a title one school limits the amount of technology we can put into our students hands. Our hope for our students is that we are exposing them to learning tools and skills that will help them be successful in their future careers. Being a military connected school, the children that we reach can go on to influence the whole world.
