With your help, I will be able to make some final improvements and additions to my flexible seating classroom. This project will affect approximately 140 students this upcoming year, but it will continue to affect an additional 60-80 students each following year. Currently, my students have access to different locations throughout the classroom and a few different seating options, such as gaming chairs, yoga mats, and office chairs. With the purchase of the items on my list, I will be able to finalize my classroom and provide multiple safe and flexible seating options. By providing my students with a choice in seating, they are much more engaged and collaborate better. Each student in my classroom learns differently than the student next to them; therefore, it is my job to provide them with multiple options for comfort. With your help and my own purchases, my students will have access to ten different seating options. Choice and comfort has proven to increase student engagement and learning, and with more options, I hope to see them continue to grow!
