The use of tablets is almost a daily activity in my first grade classroom. While the students are engaged on their tablets, I am also pulling small groups for reading, writing or math. Without headphones, it can get very noisy and the students are easily distracted by their neighbors. They tend to chat with one another during independent tablet time, if they don't have headphones. With these requested Listening Center Headphones, the students will be able to stay more focused on their own activities and less likely to talk to each other. This also creates a more peaceful environment for pulling my small groups for teaching specific skills.
