Creative, curious, and enthusiastic are just a few adjectives I would use to describe 5th graders! Students entering my classroom are coming from low-income homes, many of them from different countries. Language barriers are one of the biggest things we will be working on during the school year. My classroom will include a wide range of diverse learners who will all be given high expectations. My goal is to be able to provide my students with a safe learning environment where they feel comfortable taking academic risks. As I enter my first year as a teacher I want to be able to provide my students with the materials, support and encouragement they need to succeed.

About my class
