As a second year special education teacher, I have yet to fully develop a classroom library to facilitate and enhance the needs of my students. With a classroom library my students will have the ability to expand the mind, increase reading stamina, foster imagination, and fall in love with books. This habit will eventually help them in the future to lead a successful life. The resources that I have chosen to build my library of fiction and non-fiction texts are part of the school district curriculum. From there I have the ability to differentiate and build on the prior knowledge I possess in order to give my students the best experience.
