I teach pre-K in a very busy classroom. We have students who are sensitive to various types of sensory input, which results in them becoming overwhelmed. Using the calming 3-1 chairs will give my students a safe place to sit where their body will be supported in an upright position on all sides. These will be used during circle time, during meals, and any time during the day when children want to be seated for activities. The calming colors soft seats will be beneficial for children who need sensory input while we work in large and small groups. My students will use the feely box to explore with items of different textures. We'll be able to add the slot and build textured shapes into the feely box as well. The magnetic animals will be used to help children explore with language and auditory support as they use the magnetic animals and make animal sounds.
