Our school district is migrating everything over to a Google platform. Students are all encouraged to learn, test, and work within the Chrome environment. However the school's Chromebook resources are limited. Departments are required to share and my ESOL department is left without a cart. Chromebooks and a charging cart will provide the visual learning that is crucial for my English language learners. While acquiring English, they will also be improving their digital literacy. Data shows that access to technology increases student academic performance and success within my class and school wide across content. The expectation of the workforce requires my students to be adept at English and fluent with technology.
