These materials are basic everyday items that my students need in order to facilitate learning. They live in a low-income area, and often times are not able to bring supplies on the school supply list to school. They will be using dry erase markers and boards to use in small group learning, most specifically in math. Pencils are a very basic item that many of them do not have. Construction paper will be used for art projects and lap books for book studies. We will use the dough material to shape and form letters, words and numbers. This also helps with fine motor skills!
