Today, Kindergarteners are expected to sit longer as the rigor has increased. As a result, I want to create a flexible seating classroom. My students will be able to sit and do their work, while still being able to move like active Kindergarteners do. They can choose where they would like to sit and feel comfortable. I would like to get wobble stools for those kids that like to move, and bouncing balls for students that like to bounce. Traditional chairs don’t work for active five year olds. These seating options will help my students feel more comfortable and productive.
