Adapted seating will help my students become more engaged, attentive, and focused during learning. Students with Autism often have trouble remaining engaged in activities and often require various sensory supports to help them self-regulate and maintain a calm state that is conducive to learning. My goal is to offer various adaptive seating options for my students, and this is the first step in that process. I have numerous students in my classroom that will be able to utilize this ball chair during different parts of the day to enhance their learning and engagement in all of our daily classroom learning opportunities.
