Many of my students love to read and many more just haven't found the right book. Sadly, as a first year teacher, my classroom is lacking in any sort of classroom library and I have been unable to find any good resources for children's books on a teacher's budget. This project would mean the world to my students because they would receive many books catered to their reading level. These book sets comes with many fantastic stories that I want to share with my children including some series that will allow them to continue with a chain of books if they find it interesting. We would use these books everyday as our school believes that reading for enjoyment is one of the most important things we can do in the day. We even have a set time of the day that every student in the school "drops everything and reads” (D.E.A.R.). I just wish that I could provide a larger selection of more up-to-date books so that my students have more choice. The book cart will allow me to keep these books organized so they are readily accessible at any time.
