Having a large white board will give my students a vertical space to work on their math problems. My students love the chance to get out of their desks and practice their math skills. Practicing math in an engaging way will motivate my students to solve more problems. During reading groups my students can use the white board to work on their phonics and comprehension skills. It will be a great teaching tool for me to instruct and have my students visually see what is being taught. Using different colored markers will create a more clear picture of what is being taught.
