Our fifth grade students live and go to school in eastern Maryland. We are a K - 8 school, with two classes at each grade level. Seventy percent of our students either receive reduced or free lunch, and because of that we are considered a high poverty school. Our students are like kids all over the country (except of course that we're Ravens fans) - bright, funny, curious, imaginative - all the things you want in a ten year old! Many of our students don't have all the opportunities more affluent children enjoy. Books and bookcases should be standard equipment in every child's room. Please help us make this possible for 44 kids.
