Flexible seating in our classroom is HUGE. This allows students to take charge of their seating and make good choices about where they work best. Since our classroom is all-inclusive, we have a variety of needs to be met. Flexible seating, as well as sensory objects and fidgets allow them movement and a way to release built up anxiety and get their wiggles out when needed! When children have the choice to chose their seating and have the appropriate materials to meet their needs, they are more motivated to pay attention in class and work independently. By donating to this project, you are donating to their educational and sensory needs that they have throughout the day. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them more seating options that will help them learn best. These will be beneficial to those kids that need a less distracting way to move throughout the day. The comfy seats allows them to sit on the floor and pick a spot that is best for them, and the sensory objects will help students that need a break from academics to take a sensory break to get back on track. My goal of this project is to accommodate my students and expand their ways to learn!
