Reaching students through a variety of activities and styles is key to learning in classrooms today. Students take a more active part in their education when they have the opportunities to discover things on their own and experience new understanding. This light table and manipulatives will allow the students to do just that-create and discover. At this age, children learn best through hands-on experiences. This light table will provide them with the experiences and abilities to manipulate shapes, numbers, letters, and other objects in a way that they can relate to and retain the new information. It will be combined with many other hands-on learning stations that will aid in reaching every student and giving them the best possible chance at success.
